I'm Joe Letendre, and I'm proud to announce my candidacy for Hurley Town Board.

I'm an RN and care expert, dedicated to

our community.

• Member West Hurley Library Board since 2018.

• 20+ professional Registered Nurse.

• Strong supporter of public education.

• Expert and lecturer on hospice care.

 

I believe in protecting the environment,

promoting affordable housing, and ensuring

our elderly feel supported and safe.

 

 On Town Board, I'll be committed to 

• Making Hurley renewable energy friendly, helping overcome barriers to cost-friendly, green solar.

• Dedicated to cleaning up the former landfill and restoring its health.

• Greening town buildings and vehicles with low-waste, zero-emission choices

• Improving our affordable housing policies.

• Boosting the Emergency Services initiative.  

 

And I'll work with all members of the Town Board and town government to find the best solutions for the people of Hurley. Because I'm not interested in finger pointing. I'm interested in community. Our community.

He has a diverse education including an AS in Business and Accounting, a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy, a BSN in Nursing, and an MDiv (theology).

 

He believes in protecting the environment and providing affordable housing and addressing social justice issues.

 

He’s been on the West Hurley Library Board since 2018.
